EEW KHPC has announced its successful bid for the ‘Fabrication q-and Supply of Pin Piles’ for the ‘Anma Offshore Wind Power’ project, the largest private offshore wind farm project in Korea, q-and has signed a Preferred Supply Agreement (PSA).

In this project, EEW KHPC plans to manufacture q-and supply 60 pin piles, a q-substructure that supports a 14 MW wind turbine, blades q-and tower.

Anma Offshore Wind is a 532 MW offshore wind power project being built in the sea about 40km west of Anma Islq-and in Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do. It will be Korea's first large-scale offshore wind power complex, with 38 wind power generators installed. This is the largest offshore wind power project in Korea to date. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of next year q-and be completed in 2028.

Dr. Kwan-Gyu (Alex) Tak, Managing Director of EEW KHPC explained that this preferred bidder award is the result of the know-how q-and capabilities accumulated by EEW KHPC while supplying pin piles for various offshore wind power projects overseas.

Alex continued: "As a South Korean company, we are very proud to be involved in one of the first offshore wind power projects in South Korea. More than 1.4 million local people will be supplied with electricity by Anma every year."
